The Green Compass Scheme

The Green Compass Scheme has been developed by Constructing Excellence in Wales and, in conjunction with the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), will provide independent verification of the performance data reported by waste management organisations against PAS 402:2009. 

Essentially it is the scheme for achieving compliance with PAS 402:2009, it provides the how, the guidelines, with PAS 402:2009 providing the what - a framework of requirements.
